Pray for my back

Yesterday I had to visit the doctor to get X-rays of my back. For about the last month and half, I have been having back problems. Hopefully the pain will be gone soon. At the beginning of September I had to go to Dr. Oneil’s in the middle of the night to get a shot in my back because I was in so much pain. After that, the pain went away in my right leg, but about three weeks ago, the pain came back in my left leg. Yesterday was kind of my breaking point. It was a little worse than normal as far as pain goes, but I just lost my patience and decided that the pain had to stop. I called the Dr. Patel and he referred me to a specialist and asked me to get X-rays. Yesterday I got the X-rays and today, I will call the specialist to make an appointment. Whatever is causing the pain, I just want it fixed so I don’t walk like a cripple.

Mouse hunt update: Our trap has produced another mouse! Butch has decided that we need to add a trap to the mix, so now we have 2. I cannot disclose the locations of the traps in case the mice are reading…wait, we are not setting traps, all the desks are trap free! Heh…heh…suckers.

Sorry to hear that your back is bad again. I will be anxiously awaiting the results of your doctors visit so be sure and call me.

As far as the mice go, we had them when I was at PaineWebber..........nasty, smelly, destructive little critters!!! Besides the mouse traps they also used sticky paper to trap them and some type of poison that made them want to run outside. Never could figure that one out because they never ran out but rather died on the floor in Hugh Carney's office. Poor old Hugh was so afraid of mice that we found him standing on his desk squealing like a girl one day!!

I did enjoy that you called Dr. Patel "the Dr. Patel." I have no idea why I found it that funny, but I did.

We had mice at our school last year. You always knew when one was out and about in the classrooms or hallways by the screams. There's nothing like being in the middle of teaching something and seeing a little something scurry across the floor and have a student start shrieking. :) We didn't do the trap thing- one of our teacher assistants became quite the mouse killer. Give her a broom and she would whack the heck out of a mouse.

Mice don't bother me, but I chalk that up to all the times I've had them run over my toes out in the barn. Not that I'd want them inside my house, though.

A field mouse past me & Jon-Jon's when we were cleaning up outside the new house this summer. He screamed like a girl and begged me to kill the thing. I left it alone, but I thought it was hilarious.

We kill them because they eat the food from our desk. They don't really bother me though. I'm with Jen, wouldn't want them in my house.

Wendy & Jayson had a problem with mice in their house back about 5-6 years ago. That's why they adopted Caspian. I think that cat would push food in front of the mice and say, "Here ya go. Eat up." He doesn't care THAT much, as long as he's getting his food. No extracurricular hunting for him, a-thankyou. =)
