Tales of lunches and brain operations

I am excited because Dan went to Panera for lunch today. That means that I get Panera for lunch. Dan is a guy in our office and he always goes out for lunch. That pretty much means that he decides what I eat for lunch every day if I don’t want cafeteria food. Anyway, it is lunch time and he just went on a Panera run. Mmmmm…Panera.
Yesterday, Abbey had surgery to have her “extra brain” removed. Anyone who has seen her, has seen that she had some kind of lump on the back of her head. Well, not anymore!! Melinda got sick and tired of it, so she had it removed. Unfortunately, Emma will never get to experience the joke about Abbey’s extra brain. Oh well. The vet said that the lump they removed was the strangest thing they have ever seen. It was like a ball of fiber with fluid in the middle. There was one fiber sticking out of the middle and every time the vet pulled it out, another one would appear. Ok, enough grossness. I will post a picture because she looks quite funny at the moment.

  1. Panera Bread!! Yes!! That is one of my favorite places to eat lunch, especially there potato soup and panini sandwiches. If you want a real treat in the morning get one of their cinnamon crunch bagels..........yummy!

Okay, so once again their is surgery going on in your family and I didn't know. We're going to have to work on our communication skills maybe? This is stuff that I want to hear about. Let's face it, I am a Botsford and there is nothing we enjoy more than cuts, bruises, seeping wounds and BRAIN SURGERY!!! I want to know more about those fibers. It all sounds really interesting!!

  2. Now, for all of you who read my last post and noticed the gross errors in how I used the word "their" and "there", please put away your red pencils and pens and just consider it as the confusion of a person who had little sleep last night and compounded it with a lack of proofreading. Geesh!! I better be careful today!!

  3. DANG IT! I wanted to scribble all over that comment. :) I was about ready to go crazy on you; in the same style I do with students after the first half of the year and they still don't know to proof-read for that one. Sheesh!

By the way...Abby's extra brain reminded me of Murphy's mini-extra brain. Remember that one? :)
